Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook/Dishwasher, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will support the kitchen by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to the vibrant atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back for more!

Duties

Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and cooks
Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work stations to uphold hygiene standards
Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions under supervision to ensure quality and consistency
Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
Wash dishes efficiently during busy service hours to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped for service
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace that promotes safety and productivity

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
Knowledge of basic food handling practices and safety procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
Strong attention to detail when cleaning, organizing, and following instructions
Good communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Prior experience in meal preparation or cooking is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
