Mediterranean Market is looking for a full-time Operations Support Associate to join our busy and growing team.
This is not your average grocery store position. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, likes staying active, and wants to be part of multiple areas of the business. One day you may be preparing fresh sub sandwiches for our retail cooler, the next you may be delivering products to one of our store locations, and another day you may be helping our administrative team behind the scenes.
This is a permanent, long-term position, so we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become a reliable part of our team. This role is not intended for seasonal or summer-only employment.
In this role, you will be trained and supported in three key areas:
Sub Sandwich Station
Approximately two days per week, you will help manage our busy sandwich station. This includes preparing ingredients, making fresh sub sandwiches for our retail cooler, keeping the station organized, and working efficiently to keep up with high demand. This is a fast-paced area that requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused while producing a consistent, high-quality product.
Deliveries & Store Support
Approximately two to three days per week, depending on delivery schedules, you will help load our company van and deliver products to our Vernon store, as well as to delivery areas such as Kamloops and Penticton. While at our Vernon location, you may also help merchandise products, put away delivered stock, organize displays, and assist on till when needed. This part of the role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move and is comfortable supporting different store needs throughout the day.
Administrative Support
Approximately one day per week, you will assist our administrative team with important behind-the-scenes work. This includes being trained to match purchase orders with invoices and helping ensure paperwork is organized and accurate. No previous administrative experience is required, as thorough training will be provided.

- Fast on their feet and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable switching between different types of tasks
- Friendly, helpful, and willing to support multiple departments and store locations
- Able to manage their time well and stay productive without constant direction
- Comfortable with food preparation, deliveries, merchandising, customer service, and basic administrative work
- Interested in a long-term role with room to learn and grow
A valid driver’s licence and a responsible driving record are required for the delivery portion of this position.
No experience in all areas is required. We will provide thorough training and support to help you succeed in each part of the role. What matters most is that you are dependable, efficient, eager to learn, and ready to be part of a hardworking and positive team.
