Programs, Lending & Office Administration Support

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Reports To: General Manager

The Program Administrator plays a key role in supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners by helping ensure the programs, financial systems, lending administration, and operational functions that support their success are delivered efficiently, accurately, and professionally.

Community Futures Development Corporation of Central Okanagan (CFDCCO) is a community economic development organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, small businesses, and communities thrive. Through business advisory services, entrepreneurship programs, self-employment supports, and flexible financing solutions, CFDCCO supports local business creation, growth, employment, and economic resilience throughout the Central Okanagan.

Working closely with the General Manager, Business Advisors, clients, and community partners, the Program Administrator helps ensure the organization operates efficiently, professionally, and effectively. The successful candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, financially literate, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

We welcome candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds. This role is well-suited to individuals with experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, banking, credit unions, lending administration, financial services, office administration, program coordination, nonprofit administration, community economic development, government-funded programs, or small business operations. If you enjoy working with people, systems, financial information, and multiple priorities while contributing to the success of entrepreneurs, small businesses, and the local economy, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Program Administrator is responsible for:

Supporting the effective administration and delivery of CFDCCO programs, services, and initiatives.
Supporting Business Advisors through the administration of client, program, and lending files.
Maintaining accurate records, documentation, databases, and information systems.
Supporting the administration and monitoring of CFDCCO's loan portfolio and related reporting requirements.
Maintaining financial records and supporting bookkeeping, banking, reconciliation, and audit activities.
Coordinating administrative processes that contribute to organizational effectiveness and service delivery.
Supporting reporting, compliance, and accountability requirements for funders, stakeholders, and organizational leadership.
Providing responsive, professional, and confidential support to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Contributing to the development, improvement, and documentation of organizational systems and processes.
Supporting organizational continuity through effective information management, record keeping, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in business, accounting, office administration, finance, or a related field is considered an asset.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Experience in administration, bookkeeping, financial administration, program administration, lending administration, or a related field.
Experience working with accounting, database, and office productivity software.
Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Experience in community economic development, entrepreneurship, financial services, lending, nonprofit organizations, or related sectors is considered an asset.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $27 – $30 hourly, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
