Lead From the Front. Build Great Crews. Grow Your Career.
LAING is looking for Commercial Roofing Lead Hands who take pride in their work, support their crews, and want to play a larger role in the success of their projects.
Whether you're an experienced Lead Hand looking for a company that values strong leadership, or an experienced Commercial Roofer ready to take the next step in your career, we'd like to hear from you.
For nearly 40 years, LAING has delivered complex commercial roofing and building envelope projects across British Columbia and the Yukon. Our crews work on large-scale and technically demanding projects that require strong teamwork, communication, craftsmanship, and leadership at every level of the organization.
As our company continues to grow across British Columbia, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Western Canada, we are looking for people who want to grow with us — leaders who care about quality workmanship, supporting their teammates, developing others, and helping raise the standard for what leadership in the roofing industry can look like.
Why Join LAING?
At LAING, Lead Hands are more than simply experienced roofers.
They play a critical role in supporting Foremen, mentoring apprentices, developing newer workers, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure projects run safely and efficiently.
We believe some of the strongest leaders in our company begin as Lead Hands. That's why we invest heavily in training, mentorship, leadership development, and creating opportunities for people to continue growing their careers.
Unlike many companies, our Lead Hands are encouraged to take an active role in developing crews, solving problems, improving jobsite organization, and building the leadership skills that create successful teams.
Whether your goal is to become a Foreman one day or continue building a career as a highly respected Lead Hand and mentor, we are committed to helping you succeed.
