Kot Auto Group is looking for a creative and organized Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our Marketing Department. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this hands-on role will help bring our dealership brands to life across social media through engaging, authentic content.
The Social Media & Content Coordinator will focus on filming, editing, scheduling and publishing content across our dealership social channels while helping maintain a consistent and active online presence. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple brands, enjoys working with people, stays on top of social media trends and is excited to travel between dealership locations to capture content.
This role will require regular travel between different dealership locations to capture content and support the social media needs of each brand.
Responsibilities
- Execute Kot Auto Group's social media strategy under the direction of the Marketing Manager
- Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple dealership accounts
- Create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Film and edit engaging short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks and YouTube Shorts
- Travel to dealership locations to capture content featuring staff, vehicles, events and community initiatives
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars for review with the Marketing Manager
- Schedule and publish social media content across dealership accounts
- Coordinate with dealership teams to organize filming days and identify content opportunities
- Write engaging captions and social copy while maintaining brand standards
- Edit video content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing platforms
- Capture and edit basic photography for social media
- Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement
- Track social media performance and prepare regular reports for the Marketing Manager
- Identify emerging trends, content ideas and opportunities to increase engagement
- Support dealership events, grand openings, giveaways and community initiatives with social media coverage
- Help maintain consistent branding, messaging and content quality across all dealership social channels
- Support the social media components of group-wide marketing campaigns
- Stay current on platform updates, trends and social media best practices
- Support the Marketing Manager with additional marketing and content initiatives as required
- Monitor google my business for all locations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience creating and managing social media content
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Experience filming and editing short-form video content
- Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Comfortable appearing behind or in front of the camera when required
- Creative with a strong eye for engaging social content
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently while taking direction from the Marketing Manager
- Able to collaborate with employees and management across multiple dealership locations
- Ability and willingness to travel between dealership locations as required
- Photography and basic graphic design experience are considered an asset
- Automotive or multi-location marketing experience is considered an asset
