We are a full-service restoration company looking for ambitious and energetic individuals to join our team as a Restoration Technician for our Kelowna branch. If you have the ability to work hard, multitask and learn quickly with a positive attitude, then we want to meet you.

Job Responsibilities:

The Restoration Technician plays a crucial role in water damage restoration. You will perform water extraction, demolition and sanitation procedures.

What we are looking for:

Document work status through photos and/or videos to keep managers and teams informed.
Determine the category of water loss.
Extract excess water from carpets, walls, and other surfaces.
Assist in determining non-restorable building components.
Assist in demolition.
Set up and manage drying equipment.
Clean and sanitize using bio-wash procedures.
May be required to manipulate, block, or move contents.
Monitors drying process and adjusts/removes equipment as required.
Collaborated with team members during each stage of the restoration process, ensuring timely completion

Requirements

Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driver abstract.
Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full-sized panel van is considered an asset.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work alone or with minimum supervision.
Ability to address unexpected challenges and make quick decisions.
Ability to lift industrial fans 30 - 40 lbs.
Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers.
Knowledge of construction-related hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of building materials and basic construction fundamentals.
Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning, or carpet installation is considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

Will often work in dirty and/or wet conditions
Work is of a physical nature
Personal Protective Equipment are provided
Work is full-time. Overtime is required at times.
