Licensed Leasing Specialist – Multifamily & Developer Portfolios
Location: Kelowna, British Columbia

Work Setting: Primarily in person within the Central Okanagan
About the Opportunity
Tactx Project Sales & Marketing is seeking an experienced, licensed real estate professional to support specialized residential lease-up assignments in Kelowna.
This is not a traditional property-management position. The successful candidate will focus primarily on leasing available homes within professionally owned rental buildings and developer-held residential portfolios. Day-to-day building management, maintenance coordination and tenant management are not part of this role.
The initial assignments will involve established residential properties with remaining homes available for lease. There may also be opportunities to participate in the sales or leasing of future development projects as our portfolio grows.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who has previously worked with:
- Purpose-built rental communities
- Multifamily lease-up projects
- Developer-owned rental portfolios
- Project sales or pre-sale developments
- Developers leasing or managing groups of completed, unsold homes
- Brokerage or property-management leasing teams
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to assigned leads
- Qualify prospective residents and maintain consistent follow-up
- Conduct property tours and present available homes
- Explain rental offerings, incentives, availability and application requirements
- Assist applicants through the application and leasing process
- Coordinate with the property manager, brokerage, developer and Tactx team
- Maintain accurate lead, showing and leasing records
- Provide regular updates on the leasing pipeline and prospect feedback
- Represent each property professionally and protect its reputation
- Support future project launches when suitable opportunities arise
Lead Integrity and Confidentiality
Lead protection is a fundamental requirement of this position.
Any lead provided for a particular property must remain exclusively associated with that property. Assigned leads may not be redirected, cross-marketed, retained, exported or used for another building, brokerage, client or personal business without prior written authorization.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working with confidential project information and following strict lead-handling procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active British Columbia rental property management licence
- Relevant leasing experience within the Kelowna or Central Okanagan market
- Strong understanding of the residential rental process
- Excellent communication, follow-up and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while following project-specific procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and availability to conduct in-person showings
- Professional, trustworthy and highly responsive
Preferred Experience
- Purpose-built rental lease-up experience
- Project sales, new-development or developer-side experience
- Experience leasing multiple homes within the same building or portfolio
- Existing relationships within the Kelowna real estate and development community
- Experience working with CRM or lead-management systems
- A British Columbia trading services licence, or an interest in obtaining one for future project-sales opportunities
Affiliation with our partner brokerage, Panda Luxury Homes, is preferred. It is not necessarily required on the first day; however, the successful candidate must be appropriately licensed and affiliated before performing any activities that require brokerage supervision.
Compensation
This is a commission-only opportunity. Compensation will be established for each property or assignment and documented in writing before work begins.
Lead volume and available inventory may vary by project. No minimum level of income or number of assignments is guaranteed.
Future Opportunities
The initial focus will be residential leasing. A strong performer may be considered for future project sales, new-development launches and additional leasing assignments, subject to experience, performance and applicable licensing requirements.
