Clinic Manager - Job Overview
About Us
Genius Medical is a rapidly expanding, modern Family Physician clinic located in the highly sought-after Pandosy area of Kelowna. Operating out of a brand-new, 5,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative, professional team environment.
As a dynamic, newer and fast-growing medical clinic, we are seeking a high-calibre Clinic Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead our growing administrative team, and work with ownership to build highly efficient, sustainable clinic workflows.
This is a career-defining role for a motivated professional who loves building systems from the ground up. We are looking for an operational leader who wants the autonomy to run a large, beautiful facility, make real operational decisions, and build a great team culture.
Because we are a newer clinic, we are prepared to provide training on our specific workflows, clinic systems, and healthcare protocols. In return, we are looking for a loyal, dedicated long-term leader who takes true accountability for the clinic's operational success.
Compensation & Milestone Structure
We believe in rewarding performance, loyalty, and execution. We structure our compensation to protect our clinic growth while offering clear paths to top-tier earnings:
- Starting Training Rate: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on initial healthcare/administrative experience).
- Performance Milestone: A structured 90-day review to transition into our senior management bracket (up to $34.00/hour) as you gain full autonomy and take independent ownership of the leadership role.
- Bonus Program: Eligible for a structured, milestone-based annual performance bonus tied directly to clear clinic KPIs and operational milestones.

- Clinic Policies: Working with ownership to create, implement, and enforce everyday clinic policies and standard procedures.
- Team Management: Schedule, manage, and mentor our Medical Office Assistant (MOA) team to foster a high-performance, positive work culture with strong morale.
- Wellness Wing Oversight: Keep a light operational eye on our minimal wellness clinic side to ensure it runs smoothly alongside our main family practice.
- Systems & Finances: Manage clinic billing processes, handle private/third-party insurance reconciliations, inventory control, and learn to master our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Patient Experience: Handle elevated patient inquiries and ensure our front-of-house maintains an exceptionally warm, professional atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous clinic management experience is NOT necessary but is preferred. We highly welcome current clinic managers, hospitality leaders, medical office coordinators, or Senior/Lead MOAs who possess natural leadership talent and are eager to excel in the medical field.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning new software quickly. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Telus CHR is a bonus, but full training is provided.
