Our growth has been consistent year after year, and we are now entering the next stage of expansion with ambitious goals to significantly increase revenue, market share, and strategic partnerships throughout British Columbia and beyond.
To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced, driven, and highly motivated Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships across corporate, tourism, hospitality, and group travel markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating revenue through:
- Corporate events
- Team building experiences
- Conference and convention groups
- Destination management partnerships
- Hotels and resorts
- Wedding planners
- Travel agents
- Concierge networks
- Event planners
- Tourism organizations
- Cruise and tour operators
- Sports teams
- Bachelor and bachelorette groups
- Private charter experiences
- Large group transportation services
This individual will play a critical role in helping Vivid Tours achieve its aggressive growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, prospecting, outreach campaigns, referrals, and industry events.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers across tourism and hospitality sectors.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and business development meetings.
- Represent Vivid Tours at trade shows, networking functions, conferences, tourism events, and industry associations.
Corporate Sales
- Secure corporate outings and employee appreciation events.
- Develop relationships with HR departments, executive assistants, office managers, and corporate decision-makers.
- Create customized experiences for business clients.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop referral partnerships with:
- Hotels
- Resorts
- Vacation rental operators
- Wedding venues
- Event planners
- Tourism organizations
- Transportation providers
- Local attractions
- Establish mutually beneficial long-term relationships that generate recurring business.
Group Sales
- Manage inquiries for:
- Weddings
- Bachelor and bachelorette parties
- Family reunions
- Corporate retreats
- Conference groups
- Incentive travel programs
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Account Management
- Maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings and check-ins.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensure exceptional client experiences from initial inquiry through tour completion.
Revenue Growth
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track performance metrics and sales KPIs.
- Continuously identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Contribute ideas for new products, services, and market expansion initiatives.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities.
- Track leads, opportunities, proposals, and conversions.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates.
- Monitor sales performance against targets.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in business development and revenue generation.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and closing deals.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel throughout the Okanagan region when required.

- Tourism industry experience.
- Hospitality sales experience.
- Event sales experience.
- Hotel or resort sales experience.
- Destination marketing experience.
- Wine industry knowledge.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Existing network within tourism, hospitality, or corporate sectors.
