Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Freelance Seamstress to join our creative team. This flexible role involves designing, sewing, and customizing bodybuilding competition apparel to meet client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience. As a freelance professional, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects from the comfort of your own workspace, contributing to high-quality fashion and apparel production.

Duties

Create, alter, and repair garments according to client requests and specifications
Measure and cut fabric accurately to ensure proper fit and design integrity
Operate sewing machines and other related equipment efficiently and safely
Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand design requirements
Maintain organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
Source fabrics and materials as needed for various projects
Ensure finished products meet quality standards before delivery or shipment

Skills

Proven experience in sewing, tailoring, or garment construction
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to apparel production
Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and material handling
Excellent attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
Ability to interpret design sketches and technical drawings
Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently
Good communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a freelance capacity
