Marine Technician or Assistant
Northern Harbour Marina is one of central Canada’s largest marinas, docking over 300 Yachts and storing over 400. We provide launch and lift services, docking, and winter storage.

What you will do
· Operating yachts of all types from personal watercrafts to 65 foot vessels (parking, test driving)
· Launching boats off trailer at our ramp and loading boats onto trailer
· Working on all types of boat systems: engine, plumbing and electrical systems.
· Willingness to assist and take direction from technicians and service manager.
· Good note taking skills to complete work orders.
· Be willing to ask questions and get clarity when needed.
What we need from you
· Some mechanical experience of any type is an asset but not required
· A strong interest in marine mechanics.
· Strong work ethic and trouble shooting skills.
· An urge to keep learning and growing in this industry.
· Be in good physical condition
· Comfortable working in small spaces
· Practice safety within all duties
· Be willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
· Able and willing to transition from one task to another quickly.
· For full time - be willing to work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and some overtime during busy times. Some weekend work may be required in spring/fall. We are also looking to hire casual workers if that is an interest.
· Have a valid G drivers license and a vehicle to get to/from work
· Having a Boat License/Pleasure Craft Operator Card is an asset.
