JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced QA Team Lead – ERP / NetSuite to lead and scale our quality assurance function across ERP and SaaS delivery. This role is responsible for defining and driving the overall quality strategy, ensuring that all solutions meet high standards of reliability, performance, and user experience.
The QA Lead will manage a team of QA analysts while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to embed quality across the full software lifecycle. This role goes beyond test execution—focusing on quality engineering, automation, process improvement, and organizational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Strategy & Leadership
- Define and own the QA and Quality Engineering strategy across ERP and SaaS projects
- Establish and enforce testing standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Champion a “quality-first” culture across engineering and delivery teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and team efficiency
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA analysts, fostering a high-performance culture
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and career development plans for QA team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and capability building
- Support hiring and onboarding of QA talent as the team scales
Test Management & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management across multiple projects
- Ensure alignment between QA timelines and overall project delivery schedules
- Monitor risks, identify gaps, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and delivered functionality
Automation & Quality Engineering
- Define and drive the test automation strategy, including frameworks and tooling
- Promote adoption of automation for regression, integration, and API testing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC (shift-left approach)
- Act as a key stakeholder in release readiness and go/no-go decisions
Metrics, Reporting & Governance
- Define and track QA KPIs and quality metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, cycle time, etc.)
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on quality trends, risks, and improvements
- Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and internal quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Certifications
- 6–10 years of experience in software or ERP quality assurance, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) or SaaS environments
- Proven track record of building or scaling QA processes and teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field
- QA certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are required
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or similar)
- Familiarity with API testing, integration testing, and ERP workflows
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with business workflows and process validation in ERP systems
Nice to Have
- Experience in NetSuite ERP testing or SaaS-based platforms
- Exposure to SuiteScript or ERP customization testing
- Experience supporting UAT with business stakeholders
