Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation of lvp, laminate, carpet, sheet vinyl and ceramics.

Duties

Install various types of flooring materials with high attention to details
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed before installation
Use hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other equipment to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials
Measure spaces accurately to ensure proper fitment of flooring products
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople such as carpenters or cabinet installers for coordinated work efforts
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times

Skills

Proven experience in flooring installation
Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders)
Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and craftsmanship
Knowledge of the use of schematics for installation processes
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments

This role is vital for delivering high-quality flooring solutions that meet client specifications while maintaining safety standards. References must be provided. Must have your own GST#.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$50.00 per hour
