Full job description

Job Summary Philmart is seeking : Do you have a sales personality and a flair for selling?Are you a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our growing multi-store establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive store management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional sales and customer service. This role involves opening and closing the store maintaining a welcoming environment for guests, and ensuring that store standards are met on a daily basis. The AssistantManager will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture and ensuring operational excellence across all facets corporate setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Manage daily operations, including POS transactions using Micros POS systems, cash handling, and ensuring efficient service flow.
Cover shifts when staff is unable to come to their scheduled shift with short notice
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
In this role in a "retail store" operation you will have to be available to work a minimum of two weekends a month and two late night shifts a month.
Supervise serving staff during shifts to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency. Must live in the Swift Current area.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a retail store operation.
Extensive background within this industry and a commitment to excellent customer service
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
