Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Convenience Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to perform a variety of store duties.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with purchases.
Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, credit, lottery, and other transactions accurately.
Stock shelves, refill coolers, and rotate products.
Check product expiry dates and maintain proper product rotation.
Keep the store clean, organized, and well-presented.
Receive deliveries and organize inventory in the stockroom.
Assist with pricing, labeling, and merchandising.
Follow food safety and store policies.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Help prevent theft and report any safety or security concerns.

Requirements

Previous retail or convenience store experience is an asset but not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and honest.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts if required.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
