Full job description

Salary: $100k - 110k per year
Reference: JOB-20874

Our client in the hospitality and leisure industry is currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team on a 16 -month contract. This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring three days onsite and two working remotely each week at their King City office

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Maintain general ledger and reconcile bank accounts
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Support payroll processing and related reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Monitor membership billing, dues, and collections
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and club policies
Maintain internal controls and financial procedures

Qualifications

CPA designation or someone in the program
Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
