Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly detail-oriented Wedding & Events Co-ordinator to join our team. This role involves planning, organizing, and executing a variety of special events, with a focus on weddings. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, possess excellent organizational skills, and have experience in hospitality or restaurant settings. The co-ordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless event execution from inception to completion.

Duties

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for weddings and events
Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, layouts, and vendor coordination
Manage event budgets and oversee all financial aspects to ensure profitability
Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, decorators, entertainment, and other service providers
Oversee the setup of events to ensure all aspects align with client expectations
Provide exceptional guest services during events, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
Implement marketing strategies to promote event packages and attract new clients
Maintain organized records of bookings, communications, and event details for future reference

Skills

Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and vendor negotiations
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in time management to meet tight deadlines and coordinate logistics efficiently
Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is required
Background in hotel or event management enhances understanding of guest services and operations
Skilled in negotiation to secure favorable terms with vendors and clients
Knowledge of marketing principles to promote event offerings effectively
Budgeting expertise to plan financially sound events that meet client expectations while maximizing profitability

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
