Fort Glass Inc., servicing the Kingston area since 1975, provides the sale, installation and servicing of custom projects involving architectural glass, mirrors, showers, commercial doors and entrances, and automatic operators. With a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship, we strive to exceed our customers expectations on every project.

Fort Glass Inc is looking for a Counter Sales Clerk to join our team. This roll involves providing service to customers, managing sales transactions, and supporting daily operations. Your skills include strong communication and numeracy skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt and courteous customer service
Answers telephone and responds to email and in person requests
Assists customers by recommending appropriate products or services and provides quotes
Contacts customers regarding completed orders ready for pick up
Coordinates scheduling appointments for service/installations
Create work orders for service and residential work
Completes invoicing for counter purchases upon completion of work,
Processes payments by cash or credit card
Prepares and submits purchase orders for products, materials and supplies as needed
Verifies products received to packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy.
Assists with assembling materials for scheduled installations
Enters appropriate purchasing into Inventory database as required
Inventory counts and controls
Other Duties
General office duties as required
Skills ·
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs·
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
Excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving abilities

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
