Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Apprentice Carpenter to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects, providing a solid foundation for a career in the trades. The Apprentice Carpenter will work under the supervision of experienced carpenters and project managers, assisting with diverse tasks to develop essential skills and knowledge in the industry.

Duties
- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution.
- Support concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Help install siding, framing, and other woodwork using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment safely under supervision for tasks such as lifting and material movement.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks necessary for construction projects.
- Assist with woodworking tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Support welding activities as needed for structural components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong interest in carpentry, concrete forming, siding installation, restoration, or related trades.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on diverse construction projects.
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation or welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in the construction industry.

Pay: $18.57-$25.00 per hour
