Full job description

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QBO, or similar bookkeeping platforms.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Assist with payroll processing, including calculating employee hours, deductions, and taxes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QBO and Xero
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and familiarity with relevant regulations is a plus.
