Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of renovation projects, including carpentry, drywall, flooring, kitchen and bathroom installations. This role requires a strong understanding of interior construction processes, the ability to complete jobs independently and on a team. The Renovator will play a vital role in transforming spaces through precise craftsmanship and efficient project execution. We are a small team that restores and renovates properties in disrepair which means each team member is a part of every step from demolition to finishing. This is a position for someone with a wide range of experience who enjoys new challenges at every job. MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE AND OWN VEHICLE. JOBSITES ARE BETWEEN NAPANEE AND GANANOQUE.

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Perform carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, framing, trim and general woodwork
Install common flooring types.
Install bathroom fixtures, hardware and finishes.
Board and finish drywall, paint, trim.
Assist with planning and materials estimating.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Exterior work is also part of the role but is a smaller percentage. We do roofs, siding, windows and doors, decks, painting and landscaping.

Experience

Proven experience in construction or renovation roles.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, bathroom installation, trim-out and painting is highly desirable.
Basic math for layout, patterns and measuring.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of renovation work
Prior experience in restoration projects or working within a team environment is advantageous
