At Chris James, we’re more than a clothing boutique. We’re a locally owned business with a passion for offering exceptional customer experiences and beautifully curated fashion. We’re currently seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join our team, with the long-term potential to grow into a leadership or management role. For the right candidate, we’re open to hiring directly into an Assistant Manager position.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who sees retail as a long-term, fulfilling career and wants to grow with a company that invests in its people.

What We’re Looking For:

A confident, career-minded retail professional with a love of fashion
A team player with exceptional courtesy, communication skills, and respect for customers and coworkers
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building meaningful customer relationships
Bonus if you have experience in leadership, visual merchandising, CRM, or buying

What You’ll Learn & Contribute:

Deliver personalized, attentive service to our clients
Learn the ins and outs of a high-end boutique business—including buying, merchandising, branding, and marketing
Contribute ideas and insights to help shape the business
Build and maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring retail environment

Competitive hourly wage:
$17.60–$19+/hour for sales associates
$19–$23+/hour for experienced leaders (rate negotiable based on experience)

Please Note: This is a Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am to 5:30pm role. If you are unavailable during these hours, this position will not be the right fit.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
