Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Lead to join the daily operations in our dynamic food and beverage environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food preparation, prioritization, time management and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a key member of our team, you will ensure smooth kitchen and brewhouse operations while maintaining high-quality service and safety protocols.

Duties

Participate in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards while ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional service
Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and brewhouse areas
Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
Collaborate with management to develop menu offerings and optimize operational efficiency
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients and supplies
Assist with brewhouse tasks as required including but not limited to preparation of grains for brews, canning, kegging, stocking of beer for taproom.
Other tasks as required

Requirements

Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Prior experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Training for brewhouse tasks will be provided
Reliable, trustworthy, ability to work independently and as part of a team, take initiative to complete tasks
Ability to follow recipes and instructions
Passion for the food industry with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

Food handlers certificate is a requirement for this position.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 44 per week
