Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of scoop (LHD) equipment to support underground production and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate scoop (LHD) equipment in an underground mining environment
Load, haul, and dump ore waste material safely and efficiently
Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in work areas
Read and follow construction plans while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core with specialty modules, where applicable.
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience operating scoops/LHD’s in an underground mine.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and safety-sensitive testing.
Mine Rescue certification is considered an asset.

Compensation: $50 - $80 per hour, based on experience, plus daily living allowance and accommodations provided where applicable.

Schedule: 7/7 with rotating day and night shifts
