Your Opportunity!

Knollcrest Lodge is recruiting for a Casual Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team in Milverton. In this role, you will provide coverage on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours or regular schedule. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on operational needs. This role may also provide opportunities for cross-training in other departments, such as Dietary, for qualified individuals who express interest.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, as well as dining rooms after each meal
Maintain housekeeping carts and closets in a tidy and organized manner, and replenish supplies as required
Properly sort, wash, and dry linens in accordance with specified laundry procedures
Assist in the collection and delivery of residents’ personal laundry and facility linens
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines
Other duties, as assigned

Job Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping/laundry is an asset
Ability to read and write in English, and understand verbal and written instructions in English
Strong team player with the ability to cooperate with colleagues and department heads
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other colleagues
