The Opportunity
This is a fee split arrangement (See above), structured in accordance with Law Society of Ontario guidelines for independent associate relationships. You will be integrated into an active caseload from day one, with mentorship and infrastructure support from our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who wants real courtroom and file experience in a supportive boutique environment.

What You'll Do
- Manage and advance litigation files from intake through resolution, including Superior Court, Small Claims Court, and Ontario Court of Justice matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, factums, correspondence, and settlement documents
- Attend court appearances, motions, case conferences, and settlement conferences
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice to clients
- Collaborate with the principal lawyer and support staff on active files
- Maintain file organization and compliance with LSO requirements

What We're Looking For
Required:
- Called to the Bar in Ontario (in good standing with the LSO)
- Demonstrated litigation experience (civil, family, or otherwise)
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines independently
- Professional, client-focused communication style
Bonus (not required — any combination is an asset):
- Family law background (case conferences, motions, separation/divorce files)
- Immigration law experience (refugee, sponsorship, work/study permits)
- Real estate law knowledge (residential/commercial transactions, title issues)
