We are seeking a Digital HP Indigo Press Operator to join our dynamic team at Cambridge Label Inc. As a Digital HP Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining an HP digital printing press to produce high-quality labels for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience with digital printing and is looking to be part of a collaborative and innovative team.

Responsibilities Include:

Press Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain HP digital presses to produce custom labels that meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Job Preparation: Review dockets, material specifications, and artwork to ensure the press is set up correctly before starting production.
Quality Control: Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent colour quality, alignment, and print clarity. Perform routine inspections and quality checks to meet customer expectations.
Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on HP digital presses to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Workflow Management: Maintain an efficient workflow, ensuring timely job completion while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaboration: Work closely with the production, design, and customer service teams to ensure jobs are produced according to specifications and deadlines.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of press settings, ink usage, and other relevant job details.
Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience operating HP digital presses or similar digital printing equipment in a production environment.
Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret job orders, artwork, and technical specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in the label or packaging industry is an asset.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Requirements:

High school diploma
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to repetitively rotate shoulders and arms
Ability to use computers and apply basic knowledge of computer systems.
Ability to stand for long periods
Availability to work overtime.
