Full job description

It is a contractual position. Season at Kitchener Auditorium will start around last week of August 2026 and goes until June 2027.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $17.60. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

Job Summary:
Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations; assists food servers with table service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area.
Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
Perform all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests.

Qualifications:

Must have smart serve certifications.
Previous work experience in restaurants, fine dining level service knowledge and training is an asset.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment.
Demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Ability to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
