About the Role
We’re seeking a talented Social Media Manager to oversee a portfolio of business accounts. The ideal candidate will develop and execute social media and digital marketing strategies that align with organizational objectives, leveraging audience insights, analytics, and compelling content to drive engagement, brand awareness, and business results.
This role involves working closely with teams across Canada to understand project needs, gather insights, and develop tailored content strategies for a variety of brands, audiences, and initiatives. Working alongside our design team, the Social Media Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage content across multiple platforms while continuously evaluating performance and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies for multiple business accounts, aligned with broader marketing and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the design team to create engaging, high-performing content that supports campaign goals.
- Analyze performance metrics and translate insights into recommendations that improve engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Meet with regional teams across Canada to understand project goals and develop tailored content strategies and campaigns.
- Plan, schedule, and manage content calendars across multiple brands and platforms.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and presence across all social media channels.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns and measurable results.
- Experience developing content and social media strategies for multiple brands, audiences, and business objectives.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, audience engagement, and digital marketing best practices.
- Ability to interpret analytics and performance data to inform strategy and optimize future content.
- Proficiency with social media management, content scheduling, and analytics tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in videography and photography.
- Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
