Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a hybrid Guidewire Solutions Architect for our client in Guelph, ON.

Position Summary:
Our client has heavily invested in modernizing its Property and Casualty (P&C) technology, completing a major, multi-year transformation to a cloud-based platform to improve efficiency and customer experience. The company uses Guidewire InsuranceSuite on Guidewire Cloud for its core operational systems, including claims, underwriting, policy administration, and billing.
As the Senior Guidewire Solution Architect, you will be a driving member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply your broad Guidewire architecture experience by helping to support a strategic Guidewire initiative
- Provide consulting to our division architects and be a champion for helping to establish an enterprise Guidewire architecture practice
- Help to align capabilities within Guidewire to fit the needs of our business groups and look for opportunities to promote reusability and commonality
- Help to establish governance and control processes to ensure successful and healthy Guidewire implementations
- Demonstrate a strong passion for following and sharing Guidewire’s Cloud roadmap and highlight opportunities and challenges to complement our initiatives
- Architecture responsibility within a major segment of Technology Architecture in support of the Architecture Modernization
- Works with the Senior leadership within Technology and Business to develop architecture priorities and direction to enable business imperatives
- Displays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principals and technology modernization
- Drives continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt
- Create a partnership with Senior Software Engineering
- Looks for opportunities to capitalize on technology advances through analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential impact on the enterprise
- Defines and leads technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions

Required Qualifications:
- Guidewire Solution Design Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
- Technical Leadership
- Microservices
- API Web Services
- Guidewire certification is beneficial and would be required within a few months of onboarding (at your cost) if you do not already have it.
