The Role

We are seeking customer focused DZ delivery drivers for the position of 0–8-ton crane operators and Moffett truck operators. The successful applicant(s) will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, personal safety responsibility, equipment care and reliability.

Our DZ Delivery Drivers effectively and safely deliver roofing materials and related construction products to our customers in one of our 7 service areas. We use a combination of flat decks with Moffett, crane trucks, and booms to deliver materials in customer specified areas at job sites.

The Duties/Responsibilities

· Uphold Gibson’s Health & Safety policies and programs including safe operation of all equipment

· Build and nurture customer relationships

· Complete scheduled deliveries to customers in a safe and efficient manner

· Complete daily inspections of delivery vehicles and accurately maintain logbooks

· Communicate effectively with other team members to complete daily and weekly goals

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

· Basic Math skills

· Positive attitude

· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

· A valid DZ license is required

· Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract is required

· Boom/Crane Truck experience is an asset

· Building supply experience an asset

Physical Conditions

- No heavy lifting required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
