Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems in various building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The Insulator will contribute to the energy efficiency, safety, and overall quality of our projects, supporting both new construction and renovation efforts.

Duties

Measure, cut, and install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, floors, and pipes according to project specifications.
Read blueprints and schematics to determine insulation requirements and placement.
Use hand tools such as knives, saws, drills, and caulking guns to properly install insulation products.
Perform tasks related to construction painting, plumbing insulation, or welding as needed for project completion.
Assist with restoration projects by removing old insulation and preparing surfaces for new installation.
Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment during all phases of installation.
Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate work efforts efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in insulation installation and construction.
Strong knowledge of construction principles including carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and flooring/tile laying.
Experience with caulking techniques and the use of various insulation materials.
Ability to read technical drawings related to insulation systems and building schematics.
Knowledge of restoration processes including removal of old insulation and preparation for new work.
Familiarity with construction painting, plumbing insulation, welding basics, flooring installation, and tile laying is desirable.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spaces.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills across multiple trades within the construction industry while contributing to high-quality building projects. Candidates should be dependable team players with a proactive approach to safety and craftsmanship.

Pay: $61.20-$63.00 per hour
