Project Administrator

Primary Location: Kitimat, British Columbia Canada

Employee Status: Full Time, Permanent

Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000 per annum

The Company

Bridgemans Kitimat Crew Management Ltd. fully integrated marine service provider, equipped with marine-certified crew and a fleet of unique assets servicing industrial projects around the world. Bridgemans and Haisla First Nation have created a joint venture limited partnership -Bridgemans Kitamaat Joint Venture Limited Partnership (BKJV) to provide marine and construction services to various industries on the Pacific North Coast. Bridgemans Kitimat Crew Management Ltd. provides crew for BKJV.

The Opportunity
The Project Administrator provides administrative and operational support in a construction based environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and operational reports as requested by the team.
Manage office supply inventory and coordinate purchases to ensure uninterrupted office operations.
Compile, copy, sort, and file records related to office activities, business transactions, HSE, and other project activities.
Record, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes and transcripts in a timely manner.
Create, format, and maintain documents in accordance with company policies and standards.
Support the accounting team by collecting receipts, tracking expenses, and assisting with invoicing processes.
Maintain organized filing systems and conduct periodic reviews to ensure records are current, accurate, and compliant.
Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for incoming and outgoing team members.
Ensure orientation and onboarding documentation is completed and kept up to date; notify Managers and Supervisors of any changes or updates.
Prepare new hire packages, greet new employees upon arrival, and support corporate orientation and onboarding processes.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and procedures.
Provide administrative support to project teams by responding to inquiries and completing assigned tasks as required.
Travel as needed to support projects.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field preferred
3-5 years experience with Engineering, Procurement, Construction or large infrastructure projects, especially with project lifecycle phases in such environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
