Job Summary

Pietra Surfaces is looking for an experienced, motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a road-based, business-to-business sales role focused on developing new relationships and growing existing accounts within the stone, construction, and design industries.

We're looking for a driven sales professional with a proven history of exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships. This is not a retail sales position—we're seeking someone who thrives in outside sales, enjoys meeting clients face-to-face, and is confident closing business.

Duties

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
Develop and maintain relationships with fabricators, contractors, designers, builders, and other industry professionals.
Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
Manage an assigned sales territory and regularly visit existing and prospective customers.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored product solutions.
Prepare quotes and follow up on opportunities to close sales.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals
Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Maintain thorough knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitors

Skills

3+ years of proven outside B2B sales experience (required).
Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a focus on business development and account management
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
Experience developing new business and managing long-term client relationships.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Proficiency with CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the road visiting clients.
Analytical skills to assess market data, customer needs, and sales performance metrics
Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively in a competitive environment
Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships
Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques for driving sales growth
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
