Salary and Benefits: $29.95 to $35.04 depending on experience
The successful candidate will:

Have an Office Administration Certificate/Diploma
-
Have 2 to 3 years of related experience.
-
Demonstrate strong planning, organizing, and time-management skills across multiple tasks and deadlines.
-
Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
-
Possess strong problem-solving skills and a self-motivated attitude.
-
Demonstrate proficiency with Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel) and general computer applications.
-
Have experience with HRIS, databases, and office equipment (considered an asset).
-
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
-
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills.
-
Be willing to engage in ongoing learning to meet job requirements.

Have accurate typing skills.
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
-
Creating and posting approved job advertisements.
-
Receiving, acknowledging, and filing resumes; maintaining the resume portal.
-
Coordinating interviews, participating in interview processes, and conducting reference checks as required.
-
Preparing letters of offer and onboarding packages.
-
Collecting and processing criminal record checks, including vulnerable sector searches.
-
Maintaining recruitment and onboarding software (e.g., Frontline), including updating templates, managing users, and providing training.
-
Compiling and maintaining monthly timesheets and approved leave requests for central office, sub office, facilities, and 12-month school staff.
-
Assisting employees with entitlement inquiries and coordinating payroll adjustments.
-
Preparing entitlement reports and completing quarterly entitlement audits.
-
Processing temporary teaching permits and maintaining substitute teacher and casual employee lists.
-
Preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, forms, and presentations.
-
Liaising with Labour Relations regarding monthly work permits for maintenance staff.
-
Providing clerical support and assisting with travel arrangements for the Human Resource Manager.
-
Providing backup support for the Human Resource Officer and receptionist.
-
Performing other duties as assigned.
