Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong background in working with various types of machinery and equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical expertise and customer service skills are highly valued.

Duties

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct maintenance on farm machinery, HVAC systems, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and Caterpillar equipment.
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery as needed.
Repair or replace components including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic parts.
Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and efficiently to clients or team members.

Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or in a similar role with dealership experience preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, and industrial machinery maintenance.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Experience working with farm machinery, HVAC systems, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable.
Electrical experience related to vehicle systems or industrial equipment is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately using technical manuals or schematics.
Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation or specialized machinery are advantageous but not mandatory. This position is integral to maintaining the safety and efficiency of our fleet and machinery operations while providing opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
