Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a nurturing and educational environment. This role involves caring for children, facilitating their development, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The Childcare Provider will work closely with children of various ages, providing support in their daily activities and fostering their growth through engaging educational experiences.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Provide a safe and clean environment for children, ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
Assist with daily routines including meals and naps.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity.
Maintain accurate records of children's activities, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare program.

Skills

Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles to effectively educate and engage children.
Ability to create a structured environment that promotes learning through play.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of children.
Understanding of working with persons with disabilities is a plus, ensuring inclusivity in care practices.
