Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years field experience (as a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker, or HVAC)
- General knoweldge of Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft programs, etc.
- HVAC/Sheet Metal commercial construction or design experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Directly report to the lead estimator and commercial management team.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects
- Collaborate with project managers, equipment manufacturers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Communicate and coordinate with project managers to ensure drawings contain accurate information and specifications.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Provide support to project teams during the bidding and pre-construction phases
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
