Social Media Manager / Content Creator
S&M Diesel is looking for a full-time, in-house Social Media Manager / Content Creator to join our team in Red Deer, Alberta.
If you're passionate about diesel trucks, performance builds, social media, and creating content that gets attention, we want to hear from you.
This is NOT a remote position. You will work from our shop Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, capturing content as it happens and helping tell the story of what we do every day.
Responsibilities:
- Film and edit videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms
- Create engaging social media posts and content calendars
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer interactions across social media channels
- Develop new content ideas and marketing campaigns
- Capture customer builds, shop projects, events, dyno runs, installs, and day-to-day operations
- Work closely with management to promote products, services, and events
- Help grow and maintain the S&M Diesel brand and online presence
Requirements:
- Strong video filming and editing skills
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Knowledge of current social media trends and algorithms
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Must have a genuine interest in diesel trucks, performance vehicles, and the automotive industry
- Previous automotive or diesel industry experience is considered a major asset

Pay: $34,500.00-$86,500.00 per year
