Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment and support the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menu items with creativity and precision.
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Enforce food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
Serve as a leader during service hours, providing guidance and support to team members.
Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize operations and improve customer satisfaction.
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Extensive restaurant management experience is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling regulations, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is essential.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and serving guests professionally.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy kitchen setting.
