Full job description

Okanagan Yard Works is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

This is a key position within our company, responsible for keeping our financial and administrative operations running smoothly and accurately. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has exceptional attention to detail, and is highly proficient in QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

· Accounts Payable

· Accounts Receivable

· Invoicing and Billing

· Payroll Processing

· Bookkeeping and Financial Record Keeping

· Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

· Data Entry and Record Management

· Customer and Vendor Communications

· General Administrative and Office Support

· Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes

Qualifications Required:

· Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping and office administration experience

· Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks: (this is a mandatory requirement)

· Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Bookkeeping principles

· Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
