Job Summary
Chateau Mountain Sports is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. If you love the outdoors, and the gear that goes with it, this is the job for you. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping customers find the right products to meet their needs. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience by effectively communicating product information, managing transactions, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Communicate product features and benefits to customers effectively to drive sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash register integrity.
Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about promotions, new products, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Proficient in technical sales concepts and able to convey them clearly to customers.
Demonstrated ability to sell products while providing exceptional customer service.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Accommodation is available for staff on the Chateau Lake Louise property.

Must have a valid work visa.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
