Full job description

Overview
IZA Design and Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling complex mechanical components and systems, ensuring precision and quality in every project. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency with various tools, and experience reading schematics and blueprints. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing and mechanical assembly to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assemble parts according to specifications
Use calipers and other measurement tools to ensure precise fitting and alignment of components
Read and understand blueprints related to for assembly instructions and assembly processes
Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and function, including fastening, bolting and riveting
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Follow company safety standards and use the proper PPE required for the position.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.

Skills Required:

Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical assembly techniques
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, and machining processes
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
Previous experience in welding or machining adds value but is not required; training will be provided where necessary
