Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Roofer/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects, performing various labor tasks, and supporting the overall construction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or handyman work is a plus.

Duties

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings
Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to perform construction tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate work execution
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of roofing structures
Support carpentry tasks related to framing, trimming, or other structural components
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during construction activities

Qualifications

Prior experience with construction, roofing, or handyman work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset
Reliable transportation and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
A positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn new skills for career growth

Pay: $25.00-$39.54 per hour
