The Role
As our Front Desk Administrator, you are the first and last impression a patient has of our office. We are seeking a team player who is:
- An Exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent verbal skills, whether greeting a patient in person or answering questions over the phone.This role requires an understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Highly Organized & Detailed: You can manage the schedule, insurance claims, and patient accounts with precision and ease.
- Proactive: You naturally take initiative to keep the front office running smoothly and anticipate the day's flow.
- Coachable & Collaborative: You enjoy learning, welcome feedback, and are eager to grow alongside a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins/check-outs, and maintain a welcoming reception area.
- Scheduling Optimization: Manage the practice schedule efficiently, balancing patient needs with a smooth workflow for the clinical team.
- Financial Administration: Handle billing, process insurance claims, and coordinate patient payments.
- Communication Management: Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and patient inquiries with clarity and empathy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical staff to ensure seamless communication between the front and back of the office.
Requirements
- Prior experience with administrative tasks including scheduling, billing, and data entry in a dental office preferred
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental office management softwares is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Experience handling electronic medical records (EMRs) with accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and strong organizational skills
