Position Overview
Richmond Hyundai is looking for a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Dealership Trainee to join our team.
This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn how a dealership operates from the inside and is interested in building a career in the automotive industry. This role provides exposure to many areas of the dealership, including Sales, Service, Parts, Detailing, Vehicle Repairs, Accounting, Marketing, Administration, Rentals, and general day-to-day operations.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, looks for ways to help, and does not wait for work to come to them. The right person will be eager to learn, willing to jump in wherever needed, and interested in growing within the automotive business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with day-to-day showroom and workshop operations
- Deliver vehicles to various locations as required
- Pick up and drop off vehicles for customers, vendors, or dealership needs
- Clean, wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles
- Assist with vehicle organization around the dealership
- Interact with Turo rental customers during pick-up and return appointments
- Help prepare rental vehicles for customer use
- Support the Logistics Manager with daily operational tasks
- Assist Sales, Service, Parts, Detailing, and Administration teams as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership environment
- Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence
- Legally allowed to work in Canada
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to safely drive and park vehicles
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning vehicles and moving around the dealership
Assets
- Previous customer service experience
- Interest in cars or the automotive industry
- Ability to speak multiple languages
- Experience cleaning or detailing vehicles
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with social media, marketing, administration, or rental operations

Pay: $18.25 per hour
