We’re early-stage and growing fast. The person we hire for this role will have a direct impact on how quickly we scale — and get compensated accordingly.
The Role
You’re the face of Vancouver Glow in the neighbourhood. You’ll knock doors, have genuine conversations with homeowners, collect their information, and book them in for a free estimate with the owner. No installation work — this is pure people and pipeline.
Your job at every door:
- Introduce Vancouver Glow and what we do
- Spark genuine interest with the homeowner
- Collect their information and book them for a free estimate
- Leave every door better than you found it — even if the answer is no
You’ll be trained on exactly what to say, how to handle objections, and how to keep a door open when the timing isn’t right.
Compensation
This is a commission-based role. You eat what you kill. There’s no ceiling — your income is a direct reflection of your effort and consistency. Top performers earn well. People looking for a guaranteed paycheque should look elsewhere.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need a sales background. You need the right makeup:
- Comfortable talking to strangers — and you actually enjoy it
- Persistent without being pushy
- Reliable — if you say you’ll be somewhere, you’re there
- Coachable — you follow the script, then improve it
- Presentable and professional in appearance
Requirements
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence + reliable personal vehicle
- Smartphone for lead tracking and communication
- English required; additional languages a strong asset
- Comfortable working outdoors on foot in varied weather
- Previous D2D, sales, or customer-facing experience preferred — not required
One Last Thing
Door knocking isn’t for everyone. It takes grit, consistency, and the ability to shake off rejection and move to the next door. But if you’re wired that way — if you actually like the challenge — this role pays well and has real upside.
