Summary

We are seeking a Child Care Center Cook to join our team at Montessori Early Years Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our children. Your contributions will play a vital role in creating a positive atmosphere that fosters growth and learning.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for children in accordance with dietary guidelines.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen.
Plan menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of children.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies as needed.
Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming dining experience for children.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a food service or restaurant setting.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines for young children.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff and children.
