Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper/Maintenance professional to maintain and enhance the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces. This role involves performing landscape maintenance, gardening, and general upkeep to ensure a safe, attractive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic maintenance skills, and be capable of operating various tools and equipment.

Duties

Mow lawns, trim shrubs, prune trees, and perform other landscaping tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal
Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment for routine maintenance and repairs
Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and caring for plants and gardens
Maintain pathways, walkways, and outdoor structures to ensure safety and usability
Monitor irrigation systems for proper operation and make adjustments as needed
Remove debris, leaves, and trash from grounds regularly to uphold cleanliness standards

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscape maintenance and repairs
Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and plant care
Experience with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing
Ability to operate irrigation systems effectively and troubleshoot issues
Strong maintenance skills with the ability to perform minor repairs on outdoor structures or equipment
Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
Attention to detail to ensure grounds are well-kept and safe for visitors or employees
Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members or supervisors
