Job Summary

Option 1 : Weekdays 2pm to 7pm

Option 2: Weekends 3pm to 7pm

Join our vibrant team at the Hotel Canin Centre, a dedicated canine hotel center committed to providing exceptional care and comfort for dogs while their owners are away. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that each canine guest receive a safe and very clean environment. Your energetic approach and passion for animals will help create a welcoming atmosphere that reassures both pets and their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively setting where every day brings new furry friends and rewarding experiences .

Responsibilities

Provide attentive care to canine guests, including feeding, administering medication, and monitoring health and behavior.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all dogs by cleaning kennels, bedding, and common areas regularly.
Assist with daily activities such as walking dogs, engaging them in play, and ensuring they are comfortable during their stay.
Handle heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies, bedding, or equipment safely and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s status and any special needs or concerns.
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries to staff and animals alike.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with general tasks and ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in customer service or working with animals is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for caring for dogs is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required to handle supplies or move equipment.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods throughout the day.
A genuine love for animals combined with a responsible attitude towards their well-being.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.
